mike's response
Casondra: So this is, um, you... Mike: Uh-huh. Casondra: ...in the car, driving, looking anguished. This is your girlfriend looking pissed and confused. These are the mountains , because there are mountains in in this region, and snow, on the mountains...and ah, I had the sense it was day. There was something about the idea of the expanse of the planes that seemd more day-like than night-like. So, um, that's my interpretation. And the car--I got green for the car. I don't know if it's a green car, but... Mike: ACTUALLY, IT'S A LIGHT BLUE, GREENISH TINTED CAR. Casondra: Yeah! Mike: I love how you have the color. And there WAS snow when we drove. In the dream itself--it's funny 'cause you know how dreams work; they have all these certain qualities, but none of the specifics? So in other words, there's the car, which I assume would be the same car I drove across the country, BUT I CAN'T EVEN--NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT--LIKE I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYTHING IN THE DREAM. I CAN'T EVEN VISUAL IMAGE--IT JUST SEEMS LIKE ALL THIS WEIRD DETACHED STUFF. BUT THIS IS PRETTY CLOSE TO THE REALITY OF EVERYTHING. --except for this is much better looking than I am. Wait, what was the other page? |

Casondra: Oh, I was drawing the Brooklyn Bridge. I was drawing the background. Mike: Ahhhhhh! That's EXACTLY how I felt about Brooklyn. There is nothing fun in Brooklyn. Literally, there is NOTHING there.Let's look at this here we go: let's say this was the bridge, or it could be the subway, right? --the tube that takes you to Manhattan. HERE'S MANHATTAN AND HERE'S BROOKLYN. BROOKLYN IS A BIG VOID OF NOTHING. GOD WHAT AN AWFUL PLACE. |
