***Georgie Dreams***

In 1996 I worked at the San Francisco Children's Art Center. There was a 5 year old girl, Georgie, who would come in every morning, sit down, and draw her dreams from the night before.
One morning as another teacher and I prepared for our first morning class, I told this teacher about my own vivid dream about an owl and a priestess. About 20 minutes later, Georgie came in, sat down, and began to draw as normal. But on this day, she created a little book. She turned to me when she was done and said,
"Here! This is for you!"
"Tell me about this Georgie. It's beautiful!"
"It's the story of the owl and the princess!"
