I am sorry to take so long to answer your
letter. I, as all Egyptians, have been following the Iraqi war
very closely in addition to taking care for our work. We have
had just one American at our hotel at this time but many
French.
The sentiments of you, Casondra, and your
friends are well appreciated concerning your disdain for President
Bush's actions. There is much anger in
Egypt
over the death of all the innocent Iraqis, but the demonstrations by
the American people has been noted. In your opinion, why do
you think Americans could not stop your
government? We figure your government has just grown too
strong.
I would still like to take you up on your
invitation to visit
America,
but I know its better to wait until things quiet
down.
Say hello to everyone for
me.
